    Work: Find the solution of equation 3(x-2)-2(4x-1) = 11 .

    Solution:Original question:
     3( x 2)2(4 x 1) = 11
    Remove the bracket on the left of the equation:
     Left side of the equation = 3 x 3 × 22(4 x 1)
                                             = 3 x 62(4 x 1)
                                             = 3 x 62 × 4 x + 2 × 1
                                             = 3 x 68 x + 2
                                             = - 5 x 4
    The equation is transformed into :
      - 5 x 4 = 11

    Transposition :
      - 5 x = 11 + 4

    Combine the items on the right of the equation:
      - 5 x = 15

    By shifting the terms and changing the symbols on toth sides of the equation, we obtain :
      - 15 = 5 x

    If the left side of the equation is equal to the right side, then the right side must also be equal to the left side, that is :
     5 x = - 15

    The coefficient of the unknown number is reduced to 1 :
      x = - 15 ÷ 5
        = - 15 ×

        = - 3 × 1

    We obtained :
      x = - 3
    This is the solution of the equation.
