    Solution:Original question:
     (22 x ) + (23 x ) + (16 x ) + (20 x ) = 72 x
    Remove the bracket on the left of the equation:
     Left side of the equation = 22 x + (23 x ) + (16 x ) + (20 x )
                                             = 22 x + 23 x + (16 x ) + (20 x )
                                             = 452 x + (16 x ) + (20 x )
                                             = 452 x + 16 x + (20 x )
                                             = 613 x + (20 x )
                                             = 613 x + 20 x
                                             = 814 x
    The equation is transformed into :
     814 x = 72 x

    Transposition :
      - 4 x + x = 7281

    Combine the items on the left of the equation:
      - 3 x = 7281

    Combine the items on the right of the equation:
      - 3 x = - 9

    By shifting the terms and changing the symbols on toth sides of the equation, we obtain :
     9 = 3 x

    If the left side of the equation is equal to the right side, then the right side must also be equal to the left side, that is :
     3 x = 9

    The coefficient of the unknown number is reduced to 1 :
      x = 9 ÷ 3
        = 9 ×
1

        = 3 × 1

    We obtained :
      x = 3
    This is the solution of the equation.
