    Work: Find the solution of equation (P-700)*20000-400000 = 400000-P*20000 .
    Question type: Equation
    Solution:Original question:
     ( P − 700) × 20000 − 400000 = 400000 − P × 20000
    Remove the bracket on the left of the equation:
     Left side of the equation = P × 20000 − 700 × 20000 − 400000
                                             = P × 20000 − 14000000 − 400000
                                             = 20000 P − 14400000
    The equation is transformed into :
     20000 P − 14400000 = 400000 − P × 20000

    Transposition :
     20000 P + 20000 P = 400000 + 14400000

    Combine the items on the left of the equation:
     40000 P = 400000 + 14400000

    Combine the items on the right of the equation:
     40000 P = 14800000

    The coefficient of the unknown number is reduced to 1 :
      P = 14800000 ÷ 40000
        = 14800000 ×
1
40000
        = 370 × 1

    We obtained :
      P = 370
    This is the solution of the equation.
