[ 1/1 Equation]
    Work: Find the solution of equation 180-【(40-y)+30] = 240-(y+50) .
    Question type: Equation
    Solution:Original question:
     180 − ((40 − y ) + 30) = 240 − ( y + 50)
    Remove the bracket on the left of the equation:
     Left side of the equation = 180 − (40 − y ) − 30
                                             = 150 − (40 − y )
                                             = 150 − 40 + y
                                             = 110 + y
    The equation is transformed into :
     110 + y = 240 − ( y + 50)
    Remove the bracket on the right of the equation:
     Right side of the equation = 240 − y − 50
                                               = 190 − y
    The equation is transformed into :
     110 + y = 190 − y

    Transposition :
      y + y = 190 − 110

    Combine the items on the left of the equation:
     2 y = 190 − 110

    Combine the items on the right of the equation:
     2 y = 80

    The coefficient of the unknown number is reduced to 1 :
      y = 80 ÷ 2
        = 80 ×
1
2
        = 40 × 1

    We obtained :
      y = 40
    This is the solution of the equation.
